What is a flight protector?

So you have just started playing darts and you are learning the game and you are choosing what part of the board to hit you pick a number and start throwing you are getting better and better, at one number so you try one more number that number is going well to, but you are seeing that your flights are becoming frail torn a little why is this happening you say , well as you throw a lot of darts at the same spot you will start hitting the top part of the flight this in turn you will start making the flight tear apart or even split apart. Flight range price 1.50 to 2.00 that is a little costly so what can we do? In the dart world there is a dart part that is called flight protector they come in many colors and they are made of plastic for the soft tip players and aluminum for the steel tip players. These flight protectors fit on the end of the flight and slip on!  The flight will last longer and the dart will defect away from the top of the flight!
